The Historic Building Committee preserves the architectural integrity of buildings built before 1945 while enhancing the operations of those buildings.
The committee also seeks to educate owners & managers by sharing information and resources about historic assets.
Participation is not limited to members who own or manage pre-1945 buildings.
- Support member information needs regarding relevant building codes, building permit procedures, and policies impacting historic buildings
- Provide occasional articles to the BOMA newsletter regarding issues affecting historic buildings
- Serve as the primary committee connecting BOMA San Francisco to the San Francisco Historic Preservation Commission and San Francisco Heritage
- To meet quarterly (at least) to educate historic building owners, managers, and engineers about historic buildings
