One of the most valuable benefits of membership in BOMA is the ability to cultivate closer, more cordial personal and business relationships within the local commercial real estate community.  BOMA hosts numerous events throughout the year for members to enjoy socializing with others involved in the industry.  Participation increases visibility for employees and their company, and makes a strong statement about your investment in the industry.  Below are some of the various networking opportunities offered during the year.  Click here for a list of all 2009 social events.

Golf Tournaments
BOMA San Francisco hosts 2 annual golf tournaments.  The Spring Golf Classic is held in May at the Marin Country Club in Novato.  In August, BOMA hosts the Elmer Johnson Golf Classic at the Peninsula Golf & Country Club in San Mateo.  Registration for both tournaments open six weeks prior to the event.

Social and Networking Events
The BOMA Associates Committee hosts several networking mixers throughout the year.  2008 events include the Texas Hold'em Tournament (February); PAC at the Park, a BBQ combined with opening night game of Giants baseball season to support BOMA's political action committee (April);  Wine Tour at Spring Golf Classic, for non-golfers to enjoy a day of winetasting in the Napa Valley (May) Un-Oktoberfest (November), and Holiday Party (December).  Registration for most events is available 4 weeks prior to the event.

BOMA Young Professionals (BOMA ^YP) Networking Mixers
The BOMA YP Steering Committee hosts several low-cost, evening receptions to help younger members of our association meet and mingle.  Registration for these events are available 4 weeks prior to the event.  For more information on BOMA ^YP  activities, visit their committee page.
