What is my BOMA ID number?
Your BOMA ID Number is assigned to the principal and alternate representative of each member building, and the principal member of each associate company. This 9-digit number is provided to you upon joining. Your number allows you access to the Members Only Section of the BOMA SF online membership directory. It also gives you access to member discounts on the BOMA International site. Please email Wendy de Lara at wendyd@boma.com to request your BOMA ID#. The number should be used by all employees wishing to access the site. (Log-in information for BOMA International -- www.boma.org -- is the principal representative's email address registered with BOMA San Francisco and the password is the principal representatives last name.)

How do I become a member of BOMA San Francisco?

What advertising opportunities are available?

Advertise in BOMA Views (debuts October 2011). This full-color publication will bring our members’ news, key trends and insights about the commercial real estate scene. The BOMA SF member mailing list may be rented - in label format only - by members and non-members, for the promotion of activities that benefit the Association, its memberhsip and the commercial real estate industry. All proposed mailings must be approved to assure that they purpose is consistent with BOMA's m;ission, and that there is no conflict with BOMA-sponsored events. Member Discounted Services
Scavenger Discount. All BOMA member buildings within the Golden Gate Disposal & Recycling Co.'s service territory are eligible to receive a 4% discount off their current scavenger bill. Complete the Scavenger Discount application form and fax to the BOMA office at 415/362-8634.
Document Shredding Service. All BOMA member buildings and their tenants are eligible to participate in a cost effective program to destroy confidential documents. Contact Stefanie Pavis at Golden Gate Disposal & Recycling at 415/575-2467 for details.

How do I use the BOMA SF CareerCenter?
The BOMA SF CareerCenter is an automated job bank system managed by a third party. You can create your own account and access it 24/7. For Customer Service Inquiries, please call 1-888-491-8833 Ext. 1533 (Extension Required).

How do I sponsor an upcoming event?
Sponsorship opportunities are available for seminars, social events and various programs and events throughout the year. Please contact Member Services Director Tory Brubaker, CAE, to discuss in greater detail.

How do I join a committee?
Participation on committees is open to all members. (A member is defined as any employee of a dues-paying entity.) Please review the list of committees, and contact the committee chair if you are interested in participating.

May non-members attend BOMA SF events? What is the non-member policy?
Individuals who are not associated with any dues-paying entity may attend a maximum of two (cumulative) general membership (luncheon) meetings and/or social events per year, regardless of whether they come on their own or as a guest of a member.

Refunds & Registration Events
Refunds will be provided when cancellations are made within 48 hour prior to the event. To confirm registration or to obtain receipts for an event, please contact Wendy de Lara.

Designation Classes
BOMA offers designation coursework toward obtaining a RPA (Real Property Administrator. These courses are developed and regularly updated by the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI). Please contact Education Program Administrator Francine Anderson, 415-362-2662 x112, to discuss the process in greater detail.

A variety of publications are available through our publication section. For more publications, visit BOMA International’s bookstore. To log-in the BOMA International’s website, you will be asked for your email address and password (primary/alternate rep’s last name).

Scavenger Service & Billing Inquiries
For all questions related to your garbage service and associated billing, please contact Golden Gate Disposal & Recycling directly at 415-626-4000. All member buildings within the Golden Gate Disposal & Recycling Co.'s service territory are eligible to receive a 4% discount off their current bill.
