BOMA SF-PAC

BOMA-SF-PAC’s mission is to:

  • Initiate and support measures that will help the commercial real estate industry.
  • Modify or defeat legislation that could adversely impact San Francisco’s business property owners.
  • Regularly meet and communicate our industry’s concerns to city and state officials.
  • Support business-friendly candidates for San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors.
  • Build coalitions and partnerships with other groups with similar goals and objectives.
  • BOMA-SF-PAC supports the association’s public policy objectives. BOMA’s position on public affairs issues is developed through deliberation of the Government Affairs Policy Advisory Committee (GAPAC) and its technical task forces.

BOMA San Francisco Governmental Affairs Policy Advisory Committee (GAPAC)
plays an important part in accomplishing BOMA's advocacy goals. It is the key committee dedicated to representing BOMA members' interests before every government or public policy forum as required. An integral part of BOMA's advocacy effort, the GAPAC directly involves itself in determining impact of proposed governmental policies and regulations on BOMA members and in formulating appropriate responses to such policies or regulations. A variety of issue-specific or area-specific technical task forces is maintained to analyze and report their findings and recommendations for action to the GAPAC whenever requested.

BOMA San Francisco's Technical Task Forces
analyze and advise the Government Affairs Policy Advisory Committee on subjects of importance to commercial real estate. These technical task forces are open to any interested member. Click here for a list and description of all task forces.
